Well I've arrived...
Madrid is stunning, as anticipated, though I'm not sure that anything prepares you for an adventure such as my own.
After a whirlwind 3 days I have managed to befriend several other auxiliares (teaching assistants) in the same program that I am in, as well as many internationals and of course Madrilenos.
I'm still adjusting to thinking and speaking in Spanish though. And while there are many English speakers here, I've resigned myself to speak Spanish the majority of my time in Espana and will be living in a piso with an Argentinian woman who only speaks Spanish.
Let the adventures begin...comienza!
